SHAMANIC HEALING PRACTITIONER'S COURSE 2010
The Shamanic Healing Practitioner's Course will run over seven weekends in 2010-11. Most people will need to have completed a one or two-day introductory workshop before applying. This is intended to be a thorough and in-depth training with an emphasis on personal integrity and empowerment, as well as the beauty, joy and trust inherent in shamanic work - it will be fun too! The course will be limited to just eight participants and will include:
- journeying
- spirit teachers - guides, power animals, ancestors
- guidance and divination
- power retrieval
- soul retrieval
- extraction and depossession
- past life healing
- space clearing
- trance dance
- work with tree and nature spirits including the elements
- altars, and healing with natural objects
- the spirits of the drum and rattle
- healing with sound
- attitude and gratitude
- integrity and ethics
- plus a good deal of personal work along the way - it is important for any healer to ensure that they are clearing and healing their own issues in preparation for working with others. Some of the work will be carried out outdoors, and vegetarian lunches are included each day.
A certificate of attendance and competence will be given on completion of a number of case studies, and it is then possible to obtain insurance to practice. Although it is a stand-alone course there will also be a more advanced second year available to those who have completed the first.
The cost will be £945, payable in one payment, or £345 deposit, followed by three instalments of £200.
